Problem with vmware after various emerge
After some updates my vmware refused to start with following error:
Attempt to remove filter function 0xb5d98500 user data 0x83d1f80, but no such filter has been added
D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
Sollution:
Try reemerge hal and make sure it is started.

Hi. By “reemerge” do you me restart.
haldaemon restart
worked for me.
